Hi All

Herewith my contribution to the club's own dictionary of photography
related words.

A "Ruck" Any photograph of a scruffy, wrinkled, bearded old tramp.
(No, not Terry!

A "Cottrell" A photograph of half decayed fungi, species unknown.

A "Terry" An empty mount.

A "Mavis" A seascape with the horizon sloping down to the left.

A "Gilligan" A fuzzy, out-of-focus "artistic" picture.

A "Neave" Small holes, in groups of three, found all over the Downs
at all seasons of the year.

A "Cropper" Longwinded involved explanation of something basically
very simple.

See you Wednesday, you may not recognize me, I will be wearing armour!

John
