Yes, thanks Patrick. very interesting.
I was surprised at the speed of my camera's response time with pre-
focus, less than .1 But without pre-focus, .6.5! A lesson there.
Of course the more important consideration is the write time. One of
my cameras (electronic viewfinder) has quick shutter response but is
painfully slow to write. In some circumstances I have to resort to
burst mode to speed things up.
